MANAGERS

CORPORATE ENTERTAINMENT

Let’s be honest, finding, vetting, and negotiating with performers can be confusing, time-consuming, and downright stressful when you realise that the quality of performers you choose to represent your business is so important. We have the expertise to handle these problems, so put the entertainment monkey on our shoulders and actually enjoy planning your event.

Corporate entertainment is a popular term for live performances during business events. Attendees can range from staff, clients or stakeholders, and your hired performers essentially carry and enhance your business name. This makes it imperative to utilise an established company to choose the best performers for your event.

Our main aim is that our performers craft a favourable impression of your brand during the event, keeping your guests talking excitedly long afterwards.

COMPANY HISTORY

Spotlight Entertainment was founded in Cape Town in 2010 as a small fire dancing business called Flame Dancers, which has since developed into a successful nation-wide, multi-performer company. It was officially registered in 2016.

The founder, Ashleigh Caddick BCom(Hons), is a professional dancer, fire performer and DJ, with marketing and strategic management as her primary career focus. She left her long-standing job in 2017 to run the company full time.

With South Africa cautiously creeping out of lockdown as social events make their way back onto the calendar, Spotlight has created a special ‘Social Distancing’ category which include acts that work well from a distance. We are extremely careful during this time and Covid protocol is strictly enforced by all our performers.

COMPANY CULTURE

Excellence, integrity and creativity are encouraged as the core culture within our company.

We have partnered directly with managers and choreographers nationwide to educate them in aspects such as organising, cash flow management, communication, and performer etiquette. They proudly represent our Spotlight brand.
